Hey everyone....when a bucket list item gets to happen, it is truly a great thing...
This one was over the top for me!!! The Watkins Glen SP has 19 waterfalls in a
2 mile hike, with 800 plus steps... it is the most gorgeous place & we have seen a lot of places...
We left early & Purdie had to stay home but got her pic taken at the lake before we went... the campground is on a pretty little lake & the people are wonderful!!
We will stay here while the storm rolls thru mon into tue... I am sitting on the porch overlooking the lake doing the blog as no wi fi at our site, no TV either....
The Glen was ever so pretty & we both took hundreds of pics... Mike is having a really good time taking pics & he doesn't shake, lol... lots of photographers & the pics of us were done by them as we went.
We did have to go & have a huge lunch at a local diner which the owners here recommended... Mike says was the best meal so far, lol....worked up an appetite...
Will have a day of rest here before we head to Niagara Falls... prayers that the weather is not too bad in NC... miss everyone & hope all are well... enjoy the pics as much as we did taking them!
